THERE MIGHT BE SOME HIDDEN FORCES IN KARACHI

Karachi is the city which is the economic hub of the country and the overall economy of the whole country is disturbed when the business centre of the state Karachi is closed. But unfortunately from the last year the city of the lights Karachi is once again under a huge threat and the panic is observed all over, the killing of the citizens has reached to its peak from last few days.Every day it is heard that the people killed in target killing and this target killing has reached to its peak.People are feeling fear when they come out from their houses, they do not go out and the business is almost closed. The killing of the people is increasing day by day but our government both the provincial and federal are not doing anything and it seems that the government is not playing her role other then a spectator.P
In the last few days the number of the citizens who lost their lives as result of this target killing has reached more than 300.Who were these people and who killed them? They were the citizen of the Pakistan but the killers are still not pointed out by anyone from the government or any other law enforcement agency.
Every political party in Karachi which is the stakeholder in the Parliament also is blaming her opponent some accuses that MQM is the culprit, some claims that ANP and some blames the others but we have never thought about the other angle of the picture that there might be some foreign forces which are hidden behind and are trying not only the killing of the citizens of the country but also damaging us economically and politically.

In this destruction there might be the element of the involvement of the Indian agency RAW which might be present in the country in the form of its agents or the Black Water that is already present in Pakistan. Why we are ignoring this factor and are blaming our own brothers without proper investigation. The foreign forces might be providing the weapons and financial support to create panic in the city and destroying it.Why we are neglecting this factor? We should think on these points seriously that the presence of foreign forces may also be detected but for this purpose we need unity and all the political parties of the province and the country should sit together for the solution of the problem and this blame game should be over now if we want to see peace and stability in the city and the country as well.MQM,Peoples Party and ANP must think this very seriously and they should work together for the security and peace of the city.If they will not sit together and if they will continue the blame game against each other then it will be very hard for the betterment of the whole area. The peace in Karachi is very important for the peace and stability in rest of the country so all the leaders and governments provincial as well as federal must think about this otherwise the circumstances will be out of control. The political parties must work together now, forgetting all their personal clashes and prejudices because the country's survival is just in this unity now otherwise the target is Karachi today and it can also be any other city tomorrow.

Former President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari was born in Choti Zareen a village of District Dera Ghazi Khan in Punjab Province on May 29, 1940 during the British rule and died on October 20, 2010 due to cardiac arrest. He belongs to a political family that has been active in politics in this area at that time. His father Sardar Muhammad Khan Leghari and grand father Nawab Muhmammad Jamal Khan Leghari had both been ministers. This family was both financially and politically rich and had great impact in their area.Leghari is the major landowner who owns about 2,500 acres of land.

On November 13,1993 with the support of the Pakistan Peoples Party Farooq Laghari became 8th President of Pakistan he was elected from the platform of Pakistan Peoples Party lead by Benazir Bhutto but in November 1996, utilizing his powers under Article 58 2(b) of the Constitution of Pakistan he dismissed the Peoples Party Government when Benazir Bhutto was Prime Minister of the country. He removed the government on charges of corruption, lawlessness and extra judicial killings. He was the first president in the history of the country who dismissed the government of his own party.
Following the Constitution of the country he held elections for the National Assembly within the time of 90 days in 1997.In the elections Pakistan Muslim League succeeded with majority seats and Mian Nawaz Sharif was elected as Prime Minister of the country. A decisive majority in the lower house of parliament led the Sharif Government to remove the controversial 8th amendment from the constitution of Pakistan. Leghari saw this as a threat to his power and conspired with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Sajjad Ali Shah to sack the Sharif Government. This led to an uprising against him and Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah, forcing both to resign. As result both President and Chief Justice resigned fom their designations. He left his office on December 2,1997.

LEADERSHIP

.Leader is a person who starts the work by communicating the policies and plans to the subordinates from where the work actually starts.A leader of a nation is a role model for the whole nation.
Leadership plays very important role for the progress and development of the countries.Leadership in other words encourages the nation.True and sincere leaders bring their nations to the top from the bottom end whereas the corrupt and insincere leaders brings the nations to the earth from the top rank.On the call of sincere leaders the nations always presents the last drop of their blood and they always agree on the decisions of their leaders.Unfortunately we are lacking in the true leadership that serve the nation in true sense.Since independence we are dreaming for a healthy and progressive Pakistan but this dream is still a dream when we see outside the country that the nations who got independence after us this thinking is very shameful for every Pakistani citizen who have pain for the country. The reason for this is that our leaders are not sincere with their country. There were few leaders who had pain for the country, who wanted to see a developed Pakistan but those were shoted or sentenced. We are lacking in all the disciplines due to lack of true and sincere leadership.Sincere leaders are not involved in making money and wealth and their priorities are the nation's progress, development and better image in the outer world but unfortunately the image of our leaders is as the corrupt people. This thing is very insulting for us and our leaders as well but the reality can never be changed.Whenever the elections held in the country every political party promised to bring positive change in the country. The leaders addressed in such a way that people trusted them and elected them as their representatives but what happened after that these honourable and elected members made their governments some went to the opposition seats and started waiting for their own term and in this way this process is still ongoing. In Pakistan mostly it is seen that the son of a leader is also becoming the successor of his forefathers and this process is continuous. One major reason is that the interference of army and martial laws imposed in the country also damaged Pakistan socially and economically. But the reason behind these martial laws is also the failure of our political leadership that the leaders of the nations do not have the potential to handle the things politically. We have never seen that a person from lower class has become our representative in Parliament and this thing has also damaged our state that the people from the lower and middle class are always neglected and the representatives are elected mostly on the basis of personal affiliations,on the basis of family, caste, sects and power..Why is it so?When this process will come to an end?Perhaps no one can answer this.We are waiting for any miracle now that change the history of our homeland.

WORLD POVERTY ERADICATION DAY

The International Day for the Eradication of Poverty has been observed every year since 1993, when the General Assembly designated this day to promote awareness of the need to eradicate poverty and destitution in all countries, particularly in developing countries this was a need that has become a development priority. At the Millennium Summit world leaders committed themselves to cutting by half by the year 2015 the number of people living in extreme poverty, people whose income is less than one dollar a day. The theme for this year’s International Day for the Eradication of Poverty "Working together out of poverty" highlights the need for a truly global anti-poverty alliance, one in which both developed and developing countries participate actively.

The observance of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty can be traced back to 17 October 1987. On that day, over a hundred thousand people gathered at the Trocadéro in Paris, where the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed in 1948, to honour the victims of extreme poverty, violence and hunger. They proclaimed that poverty is a violation of human rights and affirmed the need to come together to ensure that these rights are respected. These convictions are inscribed in a commemorative stone unveiled on this day. Since then, people of all backgrounds, beliefs and social origins have gathered every year on October,17th to renew their commitment and show their solidarity with the poor. Replicas of the commemorative stone have been unveiled around the world and serve as a gathering place to celebrate the Day. One such replica is located in the garden of United Nations Headquarters and is the site of the annual commemoration organized by the United Nations Secretariat in New York.through resolution 47/196 adopted on 22 December 1992, the General Assembly declared 17 October as the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty and invited all States to devote the Day to presenting and promoting, as appropriate in the national context, concrete activities with regard to the eradication of poverty and destitution. The resolution further invites intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations to assist States, at their request, in organizing national activities for the observance of the Day, and requests the Secretary-General to take, within existing resources, the measures necessary to ensure the success of the Day's observance by the United Nations.
October 17th presents an opportunity to acknowledge the effort and struggle of people living in poverty, a chance for them to make their concerns heard, and a moment to recognize that poor people are the first ones to fight against poverty. Participation of the poor themselves has been at the center of the Day's celebration since its very beginning. The commemoration of October,17th also reflects the willingness of people living in poverty to use their expertise to contribute to the eradication of poverty.

ISLAMIC UNITY IS IMPORTANT FOR SURVIVAL

The whole Islamic world is surrounded in troubles at present. It is also not wrong to say that the Islamic countries are degraded to a high degree by the west and this is the fact that the Islamic states are humiliated all over the world. The reason for this highly humiliation and insult is that there is no unity among the Islamic states. The Islamic countries and their leaders are not close enough and the relation of the Islamic brotherhood that should be the priority of all the Islamic states is not seen anywhere and as a result the circumstances are very pathetic for the whole Muslim world. There is not any organization or alliance that protect the Islamic values and unite all the states together for any common cause.Although there is OIC (Organization of Islamic countries) but is seems failing to unite the Islamic states. The concept of Islam and Muslim is perceived as a terrorist and terrorism and extremism is linked with Islam by the western forces. These forces are actually weakening the Islamic world and the west and United States both are hitting the Islamic countries one by one but no Islamic country is taking the initiative to stop this cruelty and injustice that is going on with Islam. The western forces are damaging the Islamic states one by one but there is no one to stop them. What is happening in Kashmir,Philistine,Afghanistan and Iraq this is enough for opening our eyes but we are seeing all this just like a statue. If we will not think about this seriously at present then the day will come that the whole Islamic world will be damaged by the western forces. If we want to protect our self and our religion then we must be united and we should make a powerful alliance against the anti Islam forces. My dear Muslim brothers this is the time to be united and if we will not do so at present then we will be destroyed one by one and no one will come to us for help. So,the Islamic unity is important for the survival of the Islam and Islamic countries.

MINORITIES ALSO HAVE RIGHTS

A minority is a sociological group that does not make up a politically dominant voting majority of the total population of a given society. A sociological minority is not necessarily a numerical minority, it may include any group that is subnormal with respect to a dominant group in terms of social status, education, employment, wealth and political power.
Minorities are present in all the countries people of different religions and sects are found in all over.Due to the improvement in the transportation and communication sectors the distances between the countries are removed now and this thing has converted the whole world into a Global Village but the concept of majority and minority is still there and people are ranked as the minority group and the majority group this is so due to the behaviours and nature of the people.
It is seen that all over the world minorities are considered as the disgraceful group by the majority group of the country. Why is it so?even the most developed nations of the world are seen doing so and the minority groups in those states are living in pitiable conditions. In United States, United Kingdom and other European countries the people from other states are disregarded by the citizens and governments as well and specially the Muslims are being targeted a lot by those states in the recent years.
In some countries like France Muslim women even don't have the right to use veil (Hijab) and the hijab is prohibited there as the French Parliament passed a law prohibiting wearing a full-face veil in public. In India Hindu-Muslim clashes are the witness of the fact that Muslims in India are not enjoying the rights of free citizen in some areas of the country. When we talk about Pakistan here the difference is also seen that the minorities here in Pakistan are also facing the troubles. We have never seen that our media that is highlighting almost every thing has given or specified time for the minorities here in Pakistan.
We have seen that mostly the sweepers in our streets, offices, schools and colleges etc are from the Christian community and these people even do not have the right to sit with us the majority group.Their concept in our mind is just as a sweeper or a gate keeper. The Hindus and rest of the minorities are also not given respect in our country.
I just want to say one thing here to all the people that if they want to get regard and respect in other countries then they must give regard to the minorities living in their own country because everyone have same feelings, demands and wishes as we have.
Lets start respecting every citizen of the state forgetting the religions and sects because humanity is above all. When we will do so we will feel our self better than the citizens of those highly developed countries who are entangled in the useless thinking of religions and sects. We must respect every citizen of the state because if we want to earn respect from others then we should give respect to all the citizens forgetting the religions and sects because honour and respect is the basic right of every citizen.

SUCCESS IS IN PEACE

The present age is the age of competition and if the individuals or communities want to make progress then they have to compete with them but now the competition is not to get most power through weapons or ammunition. Now there is the competition on the basis of economy the countries that are economically sound they are enjoying as the leading nations in the world. Now coming to the actual point I would like to say that Pakistan and India both have a very lager number of population that is a huge market for all over the world so they are investing here in this part of the world and are earning a large amount of income.Western interests are always seen to get power from the Indo-Pak region because this a very big market for them on one end and on the other end two very big rivals are also there who are always seen in the business to get more and more power by buying the latest weapons and who sales these weapons to both the countries? It is west who is making the weapons and is selling them to India and Pakistan and in this way there business is on the top in the weapon industry but our leadership has never thought about this perspective that the amount which we pay for buying these latest weapons in both the countries may also be spent on the development projects,it can be spent for building more educational centers, health centers and other social welfare programs in India and Pakistan. In short the only solution for progress and development in the region is in peace and we should have peaceful dialogues between the leadership of both the countries otherwise we can not live in peaceful environment.
The enmity must be changed into a true friendship forgetting all the disputes of the past,we should have a soft boarder now between both the countries and this would be a best option for us and our upcoming generations. We should set an example for the world that now we are committed to see peace and harmony in the region and by doing so I assure you that we will make progress rapidly and our economy will compete as the leading competitors of the world and will prove us as the leading nations.

DEMOCRACY AND THE NATION

Now by the grace of Allah Almighty there is a democratic government in the country. This democratic government is the true representative of the nation. The elected government is making all the good policies in the larger interest of the nation.

Our honourable representatives of this democratic government. In other sense they are the survivors of the democracy. They all are beating the drum that the democracy will not allowed to be damaged but they must define first of all that what is democracy in their dictionary.I think that here democracy means to be elected as the member of the assembly and then enjoy the life with the country's poor people income. This democratic government came to serve the poor people of the nation the people who are our leaders now they raised the slogans of food, shelter and clothing but what they are doing now with the people. They have even snatched the piece of bread that poor citizen was earning. The prices of the basic commodities are increased more than double and people are even committing suicides now.Sugar, flour, petrol and gas etc that are the most important things to live are almost rare for the people, in the same way other kitchen items have very high prices that they are becoming out of reach of the poor citizens. This was the government for which a poor man was dreaming of that this government will give relief to them, this government will end all the problems they were facing, they were thinking that this government will give them the freedom to enjoy their lives but unfortunately the democratic government has failed to do all that people were thinking about.Every day the stories are seen that a person killed his family due to hunger or unemployment.
At one hand people are living in extreme poverty but on the other end our leaders the representatives of the democracy are living like kings of very wealthy states, their living standards are very imaginary and amazing for us but this amazement also do not force and allow us to move forward and speak out against this injustice that we are facing as a nation.  These people took oaths to serve the nation but perhaps they have forgotten now that they promised to serve the people. They are now living in their own self made world which is not long lasting and will definitely come to an end one day because every rise must faces a fall.At the end I have the question here that ,Is this the democracy for which we elected our representatives? Is this democracy for which the leaders promised with the nation?Perhaps no one have the answer of these stupid questions.

PAKISTAN'S PROMOTION IN CORRUPTION

A good news for the nation in this time of trouble and desparation is that our country, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has been promoted to rapidly from 2009 to 2010 in ''Coorruption'' according to the Transparency International's report. The report titled the National Corruption Perception Survey 2010 showed an enormous rise in corruption from 195 billion rupees in 2009 to 223 billion rupees in 2010 that is a big achievement of leaders of the country.
Certainly this is a great achievement by our democratic government and this promotion is also encouraging for our leaders and the officials of the concerned departments that are named as the most corrupt departments. The departments that are mostly involved are as given
Police, Judiciary,. Power,Custom, Taxation, Land Administration, Health, Education, Tendering & Contracting and Local Government.
The reason for this corruption is that there is injustice in the country, law and order situation is in worst condition our leaders are directly involved in this corruption. The power elites, industrialists, beaurucracy and even the low rank employees such as clerks and patwari etc all are involved in this corruption and their officials are backing them up so, they put their demands infront of the public without any hesitation and fear. These corrupt people are appointed by the representatives of the nation mostly at their favourite and desired places and constituencies.
Now the need of the hour is to find out the solutin that how we should control this corruption that is damaging the whole country because every one is entanglled in this net of corruption, bribe and injustice that is highly damaging the roots of our whole society. If the nation will not take any action and will not move their steps forward against these corrupt politicians, leaders, beaurucrates, employees and officors then the situation will become even more worst and the day is not too far when we will be in Top 10 corrupt nations of the world. I appeal to every loyal Pakistani to wake up and speak out against this corruption and injustice and show your participation for a better, healthy and corruption free Pakistan.

Every citizen must be thankful to Tranparency International for its great job.

Special thanks to

MEDIA'S ROLE

Media is considered as the fourth pillar of the state and being fourth pillar of the state there is a huge responsibility on media's shoulders for the service of the nation. Media's role is considered as the survillance role in the society and its services can not be denied by the states but in Pakistan media is a continuous threat for the government and also for the nation because there are a number of channels that are working in the country.Although media was freed in the whole country by formor president of Pakistan General Pervaiz Musharaff that was a good step of the government but now it is considered as a serious threat because there is no check and balance on media by the media owners and for the sake of business and exclusive news some media organizations had also worked in such a way that was against national sovereignity.Media must not involve too much in the personal life of the people as we saw during the days of marriage of Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza.Media should point out the faults and investigate also but it should not forget that it must not effect the psychology of the people and the humiliation of any person whether he is a common man or a politician from any side must be forbidden.Media in Pakistan must work for the sake of positive change alongwith pointing out the faukts and errors of the individuals and governments in a soft language because the media of Pakistan is viewed all over the world and we must not show or weaknesses to the outer world otherwise we will lose our respect and will become target of others.

ITS THE TIME FOR CHANGE

Pakistan is the country that came into existance in the name of Islam. Pakistan also has the honour to be the first atomic state in Islamic countries and seventh in the world but unfortunately desparation is seen all around at present in the country as it is facing a number of challanges such as poverty, corruption, terrorism, extremism, lack of political leadership, lack of economc resources and foreign pressure and involvement in the country matters etc. All these problems are surrounding the country and are the biggest hurdles in the way of progress and development of the country. The country is in serious trouble at present. In this bad time the only hope for betterment of the country is youth of Pakistan that can play  very important role in changing all the situation that we are facing at present and fortunately the youth in Pakistan is more than 50% that is a hope for us. This youth can play a vital role in bringing positive change in the country. Its the responsibility of the youth of Pakistan to come front and must understand their responsibility as the only hope for the survival of the whole nation is our young and energetic children who have to prove themselves as the NATION BUILDERS in true sense. The young people have to take their responsibility now and to prove infront of the whole world that our young blood, our rising stars are the best among the whole world. Wake up my dear young fellows its the time to bring peace and harmony in the whole country and to survive Pakistan. Lets join our hands together for the survival of our motherland because its the time to change our fate, its the time to change our attitudes and its the time to change ourself, its the time for change dear fellows.

WHO IS CORRUPT???

Corruption is a hot issue all over the world but in pakistan the topic of corruption is very common and every citizen is well aware of it. Every citizen says that corruption ha destroyed the whole system in Pakistan. Every one talks about the destruction of the society and the social institutions due to corruption but why we do not go into the depth and try to know about the facts that has promoted corruption in the country. Why we do not go into the depth and find out the reality that who is responsible for this corruption at grass root level?

In my opinion we people are corrupt ourself because we are the people who have promoted this social evil in our society and we have never tried to overcome this evil. We are responsible for promoting the corruption in the country because we pay money as bribe to a policeman in the police station. we give mony to a wapda employee or a telephone lineman. We buy a patwari or a revenue officor for the completion of our work. Regretfully our all major departments are involved in corruption and an employee from lower level to the highest level is involved in corruption and who encourages them to do so? The answer is certainly ''WE'' people encourage them to do so. We have never tried to stop corruption in our homeland but the card is still in our hands because when we will refuse to give bribe to the people from grass root level i hope that the graph of corruption will definitely go downwards and this change will play a great role for the progress and development of the country. So, for the elimination of corruption from the country we need to bring a change in our minds and souls then we will become able to be a civilized state in true meanings.
